China Petroleum Puts Into Operation the First Photovoltaic Power Generation Project At A Gas Station in Hong Kong
Jul 03, 2024
On July 1, the photovoltaic power generation project of Kam Tin Gas Station of PetroChina International Hong Kong Company was officially put into operation. This project is the first photovoltaic power generation project of a gas station implemented by PetroChina in Hong Kong. Since the trial operation in early April, the gas station has achieved a total of about 3 megawatt-hours of photovoltaic power generation, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 2 tons.
The commissioning of this project is an example of PetroChina's expansion in the field of renewable energy. The operation of the photovoltaic power generation project helps gas stations reduce energy costs and contribute to environmental protection. PetroChina plans to continue to increase investment in the field of renewable energy to promote green and low-carbon development.
